Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is trying to make aments with Adele for calling her "too fat" by sending her luxury handbags.
Lagerfeld, who is the head of the fashion house of Channel, dropped a clanger last month (February 7)
when he said that although he was a fan of the '21' songstress and her "divine voice", she was a "little too fat".
He later apologised for this comments, but his remarks were enough to draw the ire of Luise Ciccone - who said his jibes were "ridiculus" - and now, according to The Sun, he has stepped up his groveling by sending her the finest handbags at his disposal, as a peace offering.
