Tony Scott's fatal leap off the Vincent Thomas Bridge spanning San Pedro and Terminal Island  (12.30pm on Sunday 19 August) captured on tape by multiple cameras ...!
one showing Tony crouched the moment he began to jump.

Multiple people reached for their cell phone cameras when they noticed a man climbing over a fence on the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro in the middle of the day ... and continued to roll as he jumped off and plummeted to his death.

Some people took photos ... some recorded video. The footage was also captured by a surveillance camera from a nearby business.

Authorities used sonar equipment to find Scott's body in the port's murky waters. His body was recovered at approximately 4:30pm ... four hours after he jumped.

U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Jennifer Osburn said a suicide note was found in Scott's Toyota Prius, which was parked on one of the eastbound lanes of the bridge.
A second note -- a suicide note -- was found in Scott's office. We're told that note was far more detailed about the reason the director took his life. The contact list was essentially just names and phone numbers.

Anthony Scott was born in 1944 in North Shields, England.
His first appearance on screen came at age 16 in Boy And Bicycle, a film directed by brother Ridley, who is six years older.
He attended Grangefield School, West Hartlepool College of Art and Sunderland Art School and earned a degree from the Royal College of Art.
Tony followed in his brother's footsteps, lured by the success of his older brother's production company Ridley Scott Associates (RSA) - and his promise of a new Ferrari.

He first directed TV commercials before breaking into the American movie industry and enjoying amazing success with Top Gun, which became a cult classic.

He was known for directing action movies with a fast, kinetic pace.

Scott frequently worked with Denzel Washington, most recently on the runaway train drama Unstoppable.
Scott and Washington collaborated on three other films - Man on Fire, Deja Vu, and The Taking of Pelham 123.

Along with countless commercials, their company also produced the CBS dramas NUMB3RS and The Good Wife as well as a 2011 documentary about the Battle of Gettysburg for the History Channel

Scott,leaves behind two twin sons and his wife Donna, a model and actress who had appeared in some of his films.

Looks like Katy Perry‘s swimsuit was nearly the one that got away during a recent water park outing in San Dimas, Calif.

The “Teenage Dream” singer was having a blast on her boogie board, until she hit a wave that nearly took her bikini bottoms along for the ride.

When Perry emerged from the water, she gave the Raging Waters crowd quite a show, exposing her entire bare backside to amused onlookers.

Now that’s what you call a true Coppertone moment!

A water park employee reportedly rushed to cover Perry’s bare bottom, while the singer struggled to adjust her two piece.

I thought the full moon was at 2 August!

The 40-year-old 30 Seconds to Mars front man-musician and actor Jared Leto shared a photo of him with the 33-year-old Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder on http://jaredleto.com/ from a charity event organized by President Barack Obama.
The two handsome gents were snapped together at Jared's Barack Obama Gen 44 star-studded fund-raiser, which he cohosted in L.A.

Gerald Butler's "Playing for Keeps" trailer

Finally some good news about mr. Butler and his upcoming romantic comedy     Playing For Keeps!

The movie is set to hit theaters on December 7!

The film is about a charming, down-on-his luck former soccer star (Butler)

who returns home to put his life back together. Looking for a way to rebuild his relationship with his son, he gets roped into coaching the boy’s soccer team. But his attempts to finally become an “adult” are met with hilarious challenges from the attractive “soccer moms” who pursue him at every turn.

The film is directed by The Pursuit of Happyness Gabriele Muccino

and with Gerard we will also see Jessica Biel, Catherine Zeta-Jones,

Dennis Quaid, Uma Thurman, and Judy Greer!

Kristen Steward BANNED from NY Cosmopolis premiere!

Kristen Stewart BANNED from premiere of Robert Pattinson's upcoming film Cosmopolis

Photos like this one became the reason for Kristen  Steward absence from the premiere of Robert Pattinson's movie, Cosmopolis.

Cronenberg and Pattinson are expected at a TimesTalk event on August 15 in the Big Apple to discuss the film
but  the he red carpet event is set to take place in New York on August 13 ahead of the movie's limited U.S. release on August 17.
Security staff have been told to keep cheating Stewart away from the premiere and after party.

Film bosses are said to be concerned 22-year-old K-Stew could seize upon the opportunity to speak to Pattinson and are worried about the media storm it would cause.

An industry insider told: 'Despite the fact Robert and Kristen have been communicating by cell phone, she will not be at the Cosmopolis New York premiere.
The premiere will come as R-Patz's first public appearance since news broke last month that his girlfriend K. Stewart had cheated on him with her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

Yesterday Pattinson's representatives denied reports the actor was pulling out of a press junket associated with the film.

A spokesman told People.com: 'Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting.
No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.'
Pattinson, who remains in hiding, is said to be taking the news hard - and drowning his sorrows.
People.com reported this week that Robert has been 'drinking and relying on friends to deal with the pain'.
After moving out of his LA love nest with Kristen, the actor sought refuge at his Water For Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon's Ojai ranch in California.

It seems that the consequences of Kristen Stewart's actions are continuing to sink in... and hard.

After the expose of her steamy affair with married director Rupert Sanders, the Twilight star is said to be in pieces and is reportedly staying with her former producer Giovanni Agnelli at his Sunset Plaza abode.

'Kristen is acting like a heartbroken teenager,' a source told the website

Liberty, who played Kristen's on-screen mother in the Huntsman, meanwhile, is said to have banned Rupert from ever working with Kristen again.

 

Earlier this week the production company behind Twilight told Entertainment Weekly that promotions for the final film, Breaking Dawn Part 2, will go ahead as planned.
It will means Pattinson and Stewart are likely to have to attend promotional events together.

"The Loft" is an American thriller film directed by Erik Van Looy.
It is a remake by the same director of the original Dutch-language Belgian film with almost the same title: "Loft". The script was written by Bart De Pauw and adapted by Wesley Strick.
The only remaining cast member from the original film is Matthias Schoenaerts, who will reprise the same role.
Karl Urban,James Marsden,Wentworth Miller,Eric Stonestreet will complete
the cast for the five married friends.

the release date for the movie is unknown but will be somewhere between
December 2012 and January 2013

DAVID BECKHAM STRIPS DOWN TO WELCOME OLYMPICS TOURISTS

DAVID Beckham has already been a welcome sight for sore eyes during the Olympic Games and now the British heartthrob has welcomed tourists to Britain in just his underwear.

Giant images of the footballer hunk were projected onto the White Cliffs of Dover to greet those flying into Britain for the London Olympics.

Three illuminated images of the football star – in different pairs of white underwear – were projected onto the cliffs to welcome tourists arriving in Great Britain from the channel. 

 The cheeky pictures lit up the famous British landmark with ferrygoers travelling across the channel from France getting an eyefull of Becks wearing pieces from his David Beckham Bodywear spring collection, which launched in H&M store in February.

London 2012, mistakes,omissions and Olympic protocol violation!

Since last friday we hear about about the olympic games at london and their comments about the greek mission.
I will not say about their food comments
or about the nonexistent hospitality,
or about the nasty behavior to the greek athlets, but
I will tell you about the mistakes, the omissions
and the Olympic protocol violation


First of all the have no control input at the stadium

(Indian officials are mystified – and miffed – after an unknown young woman managed to march with the country's athletes and officials during the opening ceremony Friday night)

The Olympic altar must lighting by only one athlete.

When the Olympic Flag is raised in the opening ceremony, the Olympic Anthem is played
 and also when the Olympic Flag is lowered at the closing ceremony.
(The Greek national poet Kostis Palamas wrote the poem 'Ancient eternal and immortal spirit' and its music was composed by Spyros Samaras for the 1st Olympiad where it was sung as the Olympic Anthem in the opening ceremony. At the later Olympics other anthems were played. The International Olympic Committee formally and unanimously adopted the Samaras-Palamas work as the official Olympic Anthem in 1958. When the Olympic Flag is raised in the opening ceremony, the Olympic Anthem is played and also when the Olympic Flag is lowered at the closing ceremony).

Scotland Yard has launched an investigation after a set of keys for the Wembley went missing.
Police checking security at the stadium lost the keys.
Locog stressed that the keys were internal and that the relevant locks have now been change.

Spain's Rafael Nadal beat Novak Djokovic to complete a rain-delayed men's final Monday and win the French Open for a record seventh time.

Down a break in the fourth set when the two resumed play, Nadal came on strong, immediately breaking back and going on to defeat the Serb 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 in less than an hour after returning to the court.
Nadal, 26, surpassed the record he shared with Bjorn Borg, who claimed six titles on the red clay at Roland Garros. Nadal ties Chris Evert on the women's side, who was the first player to win the French Open seven times.

 with the crowd chanting and clapping, Djokovic played a strong game to stay alive.

Robert Pattinson and co-star Juliette Binoche at the Cosmopolis premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival  (Friday May 25) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Cast members Sarah Gadon, Paul Giamatti, Emily Hampshire, and the film’s director, David Cronenberg, also walked the red carpet

Reaction to the film from the Cannes audience was mixed, with some critics put off by its wordy dissections of capitalism.

Maclean’s critic Brian D. Johnson remarked on the quiet, contained feel of the film, most of which takes place inside the limo and on the long stretches of dialogue.
“This is the most talkative, and the most explicitly political, movie Cronenberg has made,” he said.

Peter Bradshaw of the Guardian called it "stilted, self-important and fantastically shallow", but a colleague on the same newspaper, Xan Brooks disagreed, describing Cosmopolis as a "film of cool, diamond brilliance."

Variety praised Pattinson’s performance and declared the film a great fit for Cronenberg.
"An eerily precise match of filmmaker and material, Cosmopolis probes the soullessness of the 1 per cent with the cinematic equivalent of latex gloves," Variety’s Justin Chang wrote.

“Robert Pattinson, pale and predatory even without his pasty-white vampire makeup, delivers his frigid pensées with rhythmic confidence, but he’s not playing a character, he’s playing an abstraction – the gazillionaire bad-boy hotshot who flies too close to the sun, but he likes it up there, so f— you!”
