An industry insider told: 'Despite
the fact Robert and Kristen have been communicating by cell phone, she will not
be at the Cosmopolis New York premiere.
The premiere will come as R-Patz's first public appearance since news broke last month that his girlfriend K. Stewart had cheated on him with her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.
A spokesman told People.com: 'Cosmopolis is a
film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to
supporting.
No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.'
Pattinson, who remains in hiding, is said to be taking the news hard - and drowning his sorrows.
