RAFAEL NADAL winner of the French Open for a record 7th time!!!

PARIS, Roland Garros latest news:
Spain's Rafael Nadal beat Novak Djokovic to complete a rain-delayed men's final Monday and win the French Open for a record seventh time.
Down a break in the fourth set when the two resumed play, Nadal came on strong, immediately breaking back and going on to defeat the Serb 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 in less than an hour after returning to the court.
Nadal, 26, surpassed the record he shared with Bjorn Borg, who claimed six titles on the red clay at Roland Garros. Nadal ties Chris Evert on the women's side, who was the first player to win the French Open seven times.

Updated, 6:18 a.m. (13:00 fr), June 11: At 4-5 in the final set,
with the crowd chanting and clapping, Djokovic played a strong game to stay alive.
But in the same position again at 5-6, he found himself under pressure from Nadal,
who set up match point by driving a forehand winner into the corner.

Then, in an anticlimactic end to a final that had stretched out over two days, Djokovic double-faulted. Nadal sank to his knees as if in prayer, finally getting up to shake his opponent's hand and climb into the stands to embrace his family and friends.

Fascinating game, amazing players, great victory! congratulations Rafa!!!
